Saturday Night Fever!

Hmm. More like Friday fever and Saturday's recovery :P

I haven't been too well recently (hence the DISTINCT LACK of post regularity), so as I was much better on Saturday, my flatmates decided it would be a good idea to pop over to the student union for a bit of a kareoke session :)

Sadly, they couldn't stay for the whole thing.
But I did.
And I actually sang!!!

I sang Adele's "Rolling In The Deep", which come to think of it was a rather difficult song, to be honest. When I got up to sing, I had to mention that the audience "might want to join in, because I'm a little bit nervous"!
Thankfully, they were all very supportive. And by supportive I mean banging on the tables to the beat and yelling the song out at the top of their lungs, whilst one girl decided it would be fun to dance on the stage whilst I was singing! Needless to say, it was an awful lot of fun!!

I think I'll definitely have to go back and do that again sometime! XD

Another eventful, yet probably not very important, milestone that I set for myself this week was the fact that I managed to finish 3/4 of a pint of cider for the very first time. Luckily my friends didn't have to walk me home, since although I became rather numb, I could still make coherent conversation and walk steadily.

I'm almost training myself for when my sister takes me out to the Nottingham pubs in Easter.
She won't let me get sloshed though, even though we're taking the bus.

Well.
That's unless she suddenly decides feeding me vodka would be a good idea...
