So yesterday (Tuesday), I had a very eventful day.
First of all, I had gymnastics. Thanks to one of my coursemates, I discovered that I can still do a shoulderstand (just)!
Next, RE. Not a bad lesson, to be honest - lots of discussion, but no debate in this one (poor George. I think he was looking forward to another "civilised argument"!).
Then, as my Dad happened to be in Leeds yesterday, he popped down to York to treat me to dinner! It was a lovely bit of Dad/Daughter time, and I got to catch up on what was happening back home. Can't wait for Easter!
But I have to say, the last part of the day was a bit of a last-minute decision for me.
My flatmates finally persuaded me to go on a night out with them.
In a club.
At the launch of "Skint", one of York's biggest student events.
Admittedly, I stayed sober (although I did have 4 glasses of Buck's Fizz before I went out, one of which was spiked with Archer's Peach Schnapps!), so it was quite entertaining to watch everyone else getting/being drunk and, more importantly, enjoying themselves!
It was also a lot of fun to see some of my coursemates there too; they actually seemed very surprised to see me - well, I haven't been on a night out like that since November! I had a great time, so no doubt I will probably end up going out with those peeps again!
We ended up going home at about 3am (which, so far, is my personal record) and we eventually went to bed at 4am(ish).
Naturally, I woke up at about 12 noon. And thankfully, I had no hangover.
But although they rolled out of bed about the same time as me, the absence of a hangover was sadly not an option for my flatmates...
