Eeep! Sorry Peeps!

OH, CRIKEY!!!

A whole week without writing to you peeps! I'm so sorry!

The last time I was going to write, I was gonna tell you something exciting, but then I realised telling you might've spoiled the surprise!

Want to know what I did?

...I visited Nottingham for the weekend! :3

I went on my first-ever solo train journey (swapping trains at Grantham station) in order to surprise my sister when I saw her on the Saturday! (Okay, I texted her on Saturday morning, but I still saw her in the evening!)

I didn't know that my parents would surprise me when I got there though! Not only did they take me to the garden centre I used to work at for some wonderful tea and cake and catching up with old workmates, I got to see my 18-month-old Godsister in the afternoon! And she's walking now!!! :D

You know, she doesn't actually call me "Cathy" or anything related to that anymore. She now calls me "Purple". Funny thing is, the only purple thing I was wearing that day were my shoes, and she didn't really take much notice of them. So to her, me and the colour now appear to be one. *Squee!*

I also had a great time at St. Mark's Church on Sunday - the service was fabulous and I got to catch up with a lot of people I hadn't seen in a month and a half, including a rather excitable little girl who is approaching 5 years old - as soon as she saw me, she sprinted to give me a hug! It was the same story for another cool kid, a 7-year-old this time; he made sure I was suitably glomped! Hehe!

Sorry to the Nottingham peeps that I didn't get to see - I will (hopefully) be back in Nottingham around the end of March, unless I suddenly decide to make another flying visit!

So overall, I've had a great few days - thanks for putting up with the lack of posts, peeps!

Now to go and sleep some more...
