So a couple of posts back I wrote about the fact Britain was getting a deluge of rain and coldness.
Well, good news! Britain has finally seen sunshine!
Yes, I know, it's almost unbelievable, but, as the title says, there are literally NO CLOUDS AT ALL where I am :) Only sunshine, a slight breeze and the never-ending possibility of me burning unless I put on masses of suncream. Not that I'm complaining of course, I love the sun regardless of how red I am at the end of the day :)
What's more, this weather is ice-cream weather - brilliant if you're sitting outside with one, not so good when you're escorting loads of children to another school and away from the ice-cream van that they seem to be mildly magnetised towards. To be honest, I don't blame them. I love the stuff!
I think the best things about summer, though, are barbecues and water fights. Barbecues are great for get-togethers, and when everyone's eaten too much and they need to cool off, a water fight is great for working off the burgers. Then you can put the calories back on again by having an ice-cream :3
Better go make the most of this sunshine! Now where's my water pistol?....
The ONLY good thing about this weather is the fact that my mum bought some white chocolate Magnum ice creams. Hot weather is bad. Especially when you have to do gardening, or help someone move house (a job that involves much heavy lifting and driving). The perfect weather is about 5 degrees cooler, with clouds covering about 50% of the sky.
